Earle Barber and Dagne Forrest founded and manage Foil Media, an Ottawa website development company.
Our team deploys skills in websites and communications, databases, business analysis and project management. We use those skills to understand the key elements of your business or activity and find the best ways to present those elements to your core audiences.

Who we are
Earle, who has been in the IT industry for over 25 years, most recently brings ten years of experience in direct marketing. With core skills in project management, database design and business intelligence, Earle relishes his career as a web developer, finding that it makes tremendous use of his existing skills and allows him to explore his creativity in new ways.
Before starting Foil Media with Earle, Dagne had been writing and editing content, specifying design and development, and managing several well-respected websites in the philanthropic sector. She has put to use her communications and project management skills in a variety of contexts over the last 15 years, and enjoys the unique challenges posed by internet communications and marketing.
We have strong relationships with sub-contractors who round out our team in the areas of graphic design and elements of technical engineering on larger projects.
Beyond work
Together Dagne and Earle are also raising their children and give time back to their local community through pro bono website work, as well as volunteering in their children’s school. When they aren’t working on website projects, Dagne and Earle can be found playing badminton, cycling, cross-country skiing and generally adventuring with their children.
